Don’t Miss This Recipe

My mom made this dessert, and it was a total crowd-pleaser.
I had to grab the recipe — rich pecan pie meets buttery cake in every bite!
Warm, gooey, and pure Southern comfort.

Don’t Miss This Recipe:

✔️ Eggs (4, room temperature)
✔️ Dark corn syrup (1 cup)
✔️ Brown sugar (¾ cup)
✔️ Heavy cream (2 tbsp)
✔️ Vanilla extract (2 tsp)
✔️ Butter (1 cup, melted & divided)
✔️ Pecan halves (3½ cups, divided)
✔️ Butter yellow cake mix (1 box)
✔️ Pumpkin pie spice (2 tsp)

Whisk eggs, syrup, sugar, cream, vanilla & ½ cup butter. Stir in 2 cups pecans, pour into greased 13×9 pan. Sprinkle cake mix & spice, drizzle rest of butter, top with pecans. Bake 40 min at 350°F, covering halfway. Cool 15 min & serve warm with ice cream or caramel.
